Welcome back to another exciting year! This year is going to be very unique and electrifying. We have a lot of new things that as a staff we are excited about. Last April, our staff took the first steps in developing a more positive academic and behavioral environment for everyone at Henderson. As a staff, we have devoted much time over the last few months to collaborate on the details of a School-wide Positive Behavior Support Program, which will be fully implemented on the first day of the 2010-2011 school year. Part of this process included developing and teaching specific behavioral expectations to our students. These behaviors will be positively reinforced throughout the school for the remainder of your child's middle-school career. We expect all of our students to be:

Students will learn how to operate according to these expectations in every setting within the school. This will allow all parties to know exactly what is required of them.

Students, as Assistant Principal of HMS, my job is to make certain that you are aware of the many rules and regulations that must be followed. Even though my main duty comprises of disciplinary action, I am also here to offer a helping hand when it comes to academics and life's unusual twists and turns. Please feel free to come in and talk with me any time. My door is always open.
