Get Caught with a Gleaming Smile!!!!

Sour Lake Elementary will host the Mobile Dentists/Smile Program providing dental services to children, January 27th, 28th & 29th.

A dentist and 2 hygienists will set up a mini-dental clinic in the nurse's office. They will provide dental examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments, x-rays and sealants (if needed) to all children who sign up & are approved. The students will be shown a video on Preventative Dental Hygiene.

Mobile Dentist/Smile programs can provide these services free to families who need financial assistance and it has subsidized fees for those who chose to pay for the preventive care.  No child is ever turned away from Smile Mobile Dentist/Smile Programs because of financial need.

After being seen by the dentist, the student will receive a dental report card detailing the exam, what was done & if any follow-up is necessary. No student was taken out of CORE classes for this dental opportunity.

You may learn more about Mobile Dentists/Smile Programs by going to its website: www.mobiledentists.com and watch the short video about the preventive dental care program.
